Title: Enlightenment
The eternal knot has many interpretations such as the eternal wisdom and compassion of the Buddha, and it can also symbolize the endless cycle of life and eternal cycle of karma.
As the monk paints over part of the eternal knot, it doesn’t seem eternal anymore. Is the only way to break the cycle of life and death by breaking
the eternal knot?
